Glorious weather weekend

This weekend was quiet but the weather was so frickin’ beautiful! (I really wish it could stay 20-25C for longer) I busied myself with cleaning and baked a peach pie and on Saturday evening got together with some bloggers at Zen Kitchen. The food was great and the manager seemed very keen on keeping us happy, which was nice. (He knew that we might be possibly writing about the place later on our blogs. ;))

Our drinks arrived fairly quickly. I had a “Hello Kitty”:

..then the food arrived and Milan photographed the artistic arrangement of vegetables and tofu.

Grouchy‘s food had a long strand in it that kinda looked like a necklace, so he did what any logical person would do and wore it around his neck.

We got a great spot on the patio and when the sun started to set, I decided to take a shot of the sign. (As did Milan naturally!)

And here we are at the end of the night, the photo was taken by the manager. You can’t really see Julia and her hubby, but they were there. (They were just camera shy)

I’m looking forward to another veggie meetup and would like to try “Perfection Satisfaction Promise” next time.

A long strand of what was in Grouchy’s food? Please tell me it wasn’t a hair!

It was so beautiful here this weekend, too … I wish it could stay like this forever.

XUP-We missed ya but yeah it is a great place for dinner.:)
Kate-LOL. Ewww. No it was some kind of vegetable that they sliced so it looked like a long strand of spaghetti. I sampled some of his dish, it was very tasty! I also wish the weather could stay like this forever!
Milan-Wow! Your salad picture looks beautiful! Did it taste as good as it looked?
